The Blue Cactus power pack for reclining furniture is equipped with industry standard 2-pin connectors. However, some furniture brands have developed their own. If your furniture has a different type of connector, you can still use our battery packs for reclining furniture, you will just need a simple adapter cord. To see if you require a cord for our battery packs for reclining chairs you just need to cross check your recliners male plug with the table to the right.

The Blue Cactus 2500mAh Furniture Battery Pack for power reclining furniture is engineered to last ~400 recliner motions per charge. However, many recliner models are affected by ghost drainage, explained in the image to the left. To prevent your power recliner battery pack from draining faster than designed, there are two options: either disconnect the sofa battery pack from the furniture when not in use, or opt for a higher mAh model. Do I need one battery for each recliner or can one power multiple recliners?

Our 5000mah rechargeable battery pack for reclining furniture comes with a Y-splitter cord for powering two recliners with one battery. Connect the splitter's male end to your power couch battery pack and its two female ends to your recliners' cords.

How long does it last on a single charge?

Our 5000mAh battery for furniture is designed to last ≈ 21-30 days per charge with moderate use. If your long lasting battery pack for reclining furniture drains faster, it is most likely due to Ghost Drainage, see the question below for more info.

What is Ghost Drainage and how can I stop it?

This is when your chair draws power 24/7, causing your universal couch battery to drain. Sold separately, our remote cut off switch solves this by allowing you to control your battery's power flow, saving charge for when you need it.

Is this compatible with my specific recliner brand?

This battery power pack for reclining furniture 5000 mah is directly compatible with all 2-pin chairs. Have a 5-pin chair? You can connect our power pack for electric couches via our Adapter Cable 2-pack. Sold separately, find them in our storefont.

Is it difficult to install and how do I charge it?

Our recliner power pack is very easy! To set up: Connect the recliner’s male cord to the battery’s female port and click "On." To charge: unplug from the chair, connect to the transformer and charging cord, then plug into a wall for 7 hours.
