How is Halo different from other “smart” GPS and tracking dog collars?

Halo Collar is a GPS fence that keeps your dog safely inside the area you define. Unlike tracking collars, which only tell you after your dog has escaped, Halo prevents them from leaving in the first place.

How accurate are Halo Fences compared to other “wired” fences?

Halo Fences are wireless so there is no installation, no wires, no digging, and no property damage required. Halo Fences can be placed anywhere, and are not limited by geography or other obstacles that prevent installation of a wire.

What if my dog escapes the Halo Fence?

If your dog leaves their Halo fence, you'll be instantly notified. Your dog will keep getting corrections if they continue moving away from home, and encouragement while they're returning. You can track your dog's real-time location in the Halo app.

Does Halo use static feedback? When is this feedback useful?

Halo uses optional static feedback to mimic a tap on the shoulder (as opposed to an e-collar, which hurts your dog) to break your dog's fixation in dangerous and distraction-filled situations. You can choose the level that’s best for your dog.
