The Ostation 2 series checks each battery’s health, charges only healthy cells, and automatically sorts them into three zones:
• Invalid Battery Bin: safely isolates incompatible or unhealthy batteries.
• AA Battery Compartment: Organizes up to 12 fully charged AA batteries, featuring a pull-out tray for easy access.
• AAA Battery Compartment: Organizes up to 12 fully charged AAA batteries with the same easy-access tray.

Why is a seemingly healthy battery separated into the invalid battery bin?
If a battery has a dirty surface or any potential safety issue, it will be identified as “invalid” and separated into the invalid battery bin. If a battery appears healthy but is separated, clean its terminals and re-drop it for a recheck.
How many AA/AAA batteries can Ostation 2 Pro charge at once?
Ostation 2 Pro charges 4 batteries simultaneously (2 AA + 2 AAA) with a single-battery circuit
charging mode. It ensures independent and safe charging for each battery without mutual interference.
What battery types are compatible with Ostation 2 Pro?
This charger works with AA/AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries and Olight/Ostation Ecolast 1.5V Li-ion batteries (AA/AAA size). It covers 99% of daily battery charging needs for household and outdoor devices.
What’s the storage capacity of Ostation 2 Pro for AA/AAA batteries?
It has separate storage compartments for 12 AA and 12 AAA batteries each. The pull-out fully charged bin lets you take out 2 healthy batteries quickly every time.
How does Ostation 2 Pro identify defective batteries?
1. Incompatible Batteries: Non-rechargeable AA/AAA alkaline batteries.
2. Unhealthy Batteries: Batteries with high internal resistance or charging voltage issues.
3. Non-Ecolast/Olight Li-ion Batteries: Li-ion batteries from other brands.
Why does the Ostation 2 series not support lithium-ion batteries from other brands?
The charger is designed to work with our Li-ion batteries using a built-in handshake protocol that verifies charging safety. Because the safety characteristics of Li-ion batteries from other brands cannot be validated, they are not supported.
